01Who we are
SkorX is a pickleball scoring app and tournament management system built in Ahmedabad, India. This policy explains how SkorX collects and uses personal data on skorx.in, in the SkorX app and in SkorX TMS. It is written with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in mind.
02What we collect
We only collect what we need to run your account, your matches and your tournaments:
- Account details: name, email address, phone number and city.
- Player data: match scores, results, ratings, achievements and tournament registrations, and your DUPR ID and DUPR ratings if you choose to add them.
- Photos you add to a tournament gallery.
- Organizer data: tournament details, divisions, draws, schedules and the entrant lists you manage, including the contact person, links, prizes and sponsors you publish.
- Places you search for: when you look up a court on the map, what you type is sent to Google Maps to find the place. Location is used only for the court you pick, never tracked in the background.
- Payment data: order and invoice details. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay and never stored by SkorX.
- Technical data: device type, browser, pages visited and error logs, used to keep the service fast and secure.
03How we use it
We use your data to:
- Create and secure your account, and let one login work for playing, organizing and refereeing.
- Record scores and build your statistics, ratings, history and rival analytics.
- Run tournaments: registrations, check-in, draws, schedules, live scores and results.
- Process payments, issue GST invoices and handle refunds.
- Send service messages such as match calls, schedule changes and receipts.
- Send your sign-in code on WhatsApp. If you choose to, the app can fill the code in for you; it reads only that code.
- Show tournament photos once the tournament's organizers approve them.
- Improve SkorX and prevent fraud or abuse.
04What is public
Tournament pages are public by design: entrant names, divisions, draws, live scores and results can be seen by anyone following the event. Your public player card shows your name, city and headline ratings, including your DUPR ratings if you added them. Detailed analytics and head-to-head breakdowns are visible to you.
Organizers choose what their event page shows: the contact person's name, phone number and email, the venue on Google Maps, links and sponsors. Photos in a tournament gallery are public once approved, with the first name and initial of the person who added them. You can delete photos you added at any time; organizers can remove any photo from their gallery.
If you turn off your public profile, other players no longer see your DUPR ratings. Organizers of tournaments you enter still see them, to seed the draw.
06How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is active. Match results and tournament records are kept as part of the event history, because draws and standings depend on them. Invoices are kept for as long as tax law requires. When you delete your account we remove or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep it by law.
07Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, or nominate someone to act for you. Write to skorx.app@gmail.com or +91 99242 24479 (Ahmedabad, India) and we will reply within 30 days.
08Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to people who need it, and payments are processed by a PCI DSS compliant gateway. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and tell us straight away if you notice anything unusual.
09Children
Players under 18 may use SkorX with the consent of a parent or guardian, usually given when a club, academy or organizer registers them. We do not use children's data for advertising.
10Changes and contact
