Can SkorX TMS run a badminton tournament?

SkorX TMS runs badminton tournaments in a web browser: categories and entries, draws and brackets, court scheduling, a check-in desk, referee scoring on phones and live results. A badminton tournament scores by badminton's rules: rally scoring, best of 3 games to 21 capped at 30, the server's court from the score, and intervals at 11 and between games.

01Built for badminton

Badminton rules, on every court.

  • Rally scoring with a cap

Games to 21, win by 2, and 30 wins at 29-all. Shorter games to 15 or 11 carry their own cap.

  • Serving by the score

Even score, right court; odd, left. The referee sees who serves and from where before every rally.

  • Intervals, not timeouts

60 seconds at 11 and 120 seconds between games, timed on the referee's phone and shown on the live page.

Frequently asked questions

Can SkorX TMS run a badminton tournament?

Yes. Pick Badminton as the sport when you create the tournament. Everything else works as it does for pickleball: entries, payments, draws, scheduling, check-in, referees, live scores and results.

Which scoring does a badminton tournament use?

Rally scoring, best of 3 games to 21 with a 2-point lead, capped at 30. You can choose shorter games: to 15 (capped at 21) or to 11 (capped at 15).

Does the referee app know badminton's serving rules?

Yes. The serving side's score says the court: even, the right; odd, the left. A side that wins a rally on its own serve changes court, and the winner of a game serves first in the next.

Are there timeouts in badminton?

No team timeouts. The scorer gets badminton's intervals: 60 seconds when the leader reaches 11, and 120 seconds before games 2 and 3.

Can one organizer run pickleball and badminton?

Yes. One SkorX TMS plan covers both sports, and the event picker splits your tournaments by sport.

How much does SkorX TMS cost?

TMS plans from ₹999 + GST per tournament, or ₹9,999 + GST for 12 months. Prices exclude GST. See pricing for every plan and add-on.
